Odds to Win the 2010 Super Bowl (Updated Aug 18)

Odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl had the New England Patriots as a favorite double the size of the team with the next shortest odds, the Pittsburgh Steelers.  New England would pay out $450 for every $100 bet at Sports Interaction.com while the Pittsburgh Steelers came in with +900 odds to win the 2010 Super Bowl, with a payout potential of $900 for every $100 bet.

Perhaps it is the Michael Vick equation, but the Philadelphia Eagles now had shorter odds than the San Diego Chargers at Sports Interaction, promising a payout $100 more than the Steelers.

Odds in the lower 20 percentile included San Diego at +1100, the New York Giants at +1200, the Indianapolis Colts at +1300, the Dallas Cowboys at +1600 and the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans each at +2000.

Carolina promises a payout of $2200 for every $100 bet.

Where is Arizona in all of this considering their Super Bowl appearance last year?

They would pay out $2300 for every $100 bet.  That’s actually some pretty good value considering this is nearly the same team that went to the Super Bowl and there might even be a few improvements.

Quarterback Kurt Warner still has another year or two of gas left in the tank.  He’s proven time and time again that, with the right support staff, he can carry a team on his shoulders.  Warner is also the best when it comes to picking apart the blitz.  But the real star of this team is Larry Fitzgerald and an early MVP watch is already in place (in fact he is listed with +1200 odds to be named league MVP in 2009). Anquan Boldin is another super star on the Cardinals roster worth keeping an eye on.

The Atlanta Falcons also had +2300 odds while Baltimore had odds of +2500 to win the 2010 Super Bowl.

All other 2010 Super Bowl odds appear below:

Washington +2800 Green Bay +3000 Jacksonville +3300 New York Jets +3300 Houston Texans +4000 Tampa Bay Buccaneers +4000 Miami Dolphins +4500 Seattle Seahawks +5000 Buffalo Bills +5000 San Francisco 49ers +5000 Denver Broncos +6600 Cleveland Browns +7500 Cincinnati Bengals +8000 Kansas City Chiefs +8000 Oakland Raiders +10000 St. Louis Rams +12500 Detroit Lions +20000
