Penguin Payday
The ever-changing world of Internet gambling has turned a new page in recent years. One major online casino has gone as far as to offer scratch off tickets for online players who enjoy the lottery experience.

Although Lion Slots casino is not the only one that offers these scratch off options, they are considered to be among the best. For the player that needs a lot of stimulation, these scratch off games might not be the best option.

One of the online casino scratch off games that Lion Slots offers is called Penguin Payday. The game has a pay table on the right of the screen, where there are three empty boxes next to a number of times the bet the player can win.

For instance, there are 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 40x, and 80x boxes. The player can bet in denominations of 1,2,5,10,25, and 100. They then must scratch off the playing card to reveal six numbers, if three of those numbers match, the player wins that many times their bet. If a player bets 100, and receives three 2x, then they would win 200.

The Penguin Payday online casino game is set in the arctic. The other scratch and win game at Lion Slots casino is Tiki Treasure. This game is similar to Penguin Payday, except that the cards and screen are more tropical. The denominations are the same, but the amounts a player can win are different. Instead of 40x and 80x, the top prizes in this game are 20x and 50x.

2009 British Open: Other Bets to Consider

Monday, July 13th, 2009

The 2009 British Open doesn’t have to be just about betting on who the winner will be (albeit the payout can be extraordinary).   Numerous other bets are being offered in conjunction with the British Open.

How about this one offered up by Sportingbet.com:  Top European.

Sergio Garcia is widely considered the one to beat after Tiger Woods by most oddsmakers so no surprise he would be listed as the favorite here with a payout potential of US$900 for every US$100 bet.

A bunch of golfers with 12/1 odds follow including Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Paul Casey and Rory McIlroy.

Henrik Stenson and Martin Kaymer each had 14/1 odds.  Ross Fisher had 16/1 odds.

Here is what we at Gambling911.com find quite shocking:  Padraig Harrington (who has won the British Open the last two years) is getting absolutely no love from the oddsmakers.  They had him with 18/1 odds of being the top European.  Go figure.

Of course there is more co the 2009 British Open than Europe and BetUS.com bets included the likes of Tiger Woods vs. Padraig Harrington, Betting on the 2009 British Open Without Tiger Woods, Top 4, To Make the Cut, Top Australian, Top Danish (Soren Hansen was the favorite), Top Japanese, 72 Hole Group Betting, To Miss The Cut, Top New Zealander, First Round Score, 3 Balls and a host of tournament specials (all of these 2009 British Open bets can be found here)
